Gender Links has been formalising links with gender and justice ministries for the GBV indicators project.
The Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs, Botswana, through the Women’s Affairs Department (WAD) continues to collaborate with Gender Links in the effort to uproot gender based violence. Our project in the past year was to conduct a study in Botswana to establish the prevalence of and attitudes on violence against
women and girls and estimate the level of perpetration of gender based violence by men. This study contributes to the development of indicators to measure gender based violence in Southern Africa. Read the institutional case study.
