Lerata Pekane is Chartered Accountant (Lesotho) and The Past President of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (2009-2012). He is currently the Managing Partner at Pekane Chartered Accountants and has been a partner at New Dawn Chartered Accountants (2012-2017). He has vast experience in financial, taxation, auditing, business and governance issues for over 20 years in both Industry and practice. He was The Principal Secretary of The Ministry of Small Business Development, Cooperatives and Marketing (August 2017 – August 2020). He is a member of several Boards of Directors. The Ambassador for Lesotho Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
