Mathabiso Chamane hold an Honours Degree in Accounting from the University of the Free State(UOVS), a Masters of Business Administration from African Leadership School of Business and she’s certified professional accountant and Risk Management Practitioner. Mathabiso is the Founder and CEO of Women Navigating the Future Network, a Senior Manager Internal Audit & Risk Management in one of government public entity. She is a Board Member and Chairperson of the Audit & Risk Committee at Soft Start Bti and Botshabelo Digital Hub in Free State, she is a member of Audit and Performance Committee for Nkangala District municipality, the committee is a shared services meaning she’s tasked to give oversight to it six local municipalities, she’s also a member of Mbombela Municipality Audit committee.
She co-founder the Women Navigating the Future Network 7years ago with two of her university friends with the vision of empowering and supporting women in their career development and entrepreneurships journey, empower them to be agent of change in boardrooms and in their communities and contribute to social and economic transformation. Through Women Navigating the Future she does many community and women development projects which includes: supporting communities in rural areas in utilising existing structures to build resource centres where awareness workshops, entrepreneur days, business 101, vision board sessions and career days are hosted.
Mathabiso is mentor and a coach; she mentors University Students at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Mentorship Programme. She loves helping and changing lives through educational and empowering programmes.
