Kelly Figaro is a dynamic person and devotes herself in her local church for charitable causes and activities.  Born in a family where there are many musicians, during her early years, she was influenced by her family to be part of musical school as most of her relatives are professional musicians, she actively participated in different shows and performed on various stage to raise funds for children in need in 1999

Kelly is deeply passionate about working with people and is a kindhearted person. She is also highly involved in youth activities

She worked as a salesperson and was also involved in admin work for 5 years. With this work experience, she was able to develop her communication and teamwork skills.

In March 2022, there was a vacancy at Gender Links Safe Haven Halfway Home for the post of House Assistant. Her duties are to ensure the proper functioning of groceries and planning about the shelter, and she accompanies the residents for their legal proceedings such as going to the court for the application of a protection order, going to the police station to file for a case or to the hospital for medical assistance in the aftermath of violence.

Kelly had the chance to participate in a boot camp with young people in different shelters in Rodrigues in December 2023, to help them learn life skills regardless of their gender, ethnicity, mutual respect and discipline. For Kelly, everyday is a challenge to learn and discover.
