Zimbabwe: Gender Justice Coordinator

Kevin Chiramba is the GL Gender Justice Coordinator. Chiramba joined Gender links in 2012 as the GBV Indicators Researcher in the Gender Justice Unit. He coordinated the household prevalence and attitudes surveys in Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Zambia and Botswana. He also contributed in writing the Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Western Cape, and Zambia GBV research reports.

Prior to joining GL, Chiramba worked for the University of Zimbabwe as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Psychology Department and at the Zimbabwe Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) as a researcher. Having worked with various research agencies in designing and conducting surveys, Kevin has several years of experience in research, and project monitoring and evaluation.

He holds an MSc in Population Studies (Demography); a BSc Honours in Psychology, both from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Diploma in Education from Belvedere Teacher’ s College. Kevin is working towards broadening his knowledge in research and social justice issues.
