Melody Kandare is the Alliance and Partnership Intern at Gender Links. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Venda where she is also completing her Honours in International Relations. Kandare is passionate about gender equality, social justice, gender equity, economic justice, women empowerment, women in politics, Gender Based Violence and LGBTI. Whilst studying she worked with gender based organisations at her university such as ‘She Reigns and Amplifying Community Voices of South Africa’ which promote women empowerment and sustainable development.
