Ncane Maziya, is a confident and highly organised Gender Links Country Manager with more than 10 years experience. She is proficient in Gender mainstreaming, gender equity, Gender and Media, Monitoring, Gender equality and advocacy in eSwatini. She has worked for leading institutions in her country, including The Swazi Observer Newspapers, where she was in charge of the editorial and the library.

She took part in the media-monitoring programme where she collected data and produced a Media Baseline study in 2003. She also assisted in uploading the data using the online media-monitoring tool provided by Media Monitoring Project in South Africa, before joining the Gender and Media Network as a Country Coordinator. Maziya undertook a research project “At the Coalface” in Swaziland, focusing in all 55 Tinkhundla Centres (constituencies).

She joined Gender Links in 2011, as a Country Manager, under the Governance and Justice Department focusing on governance. Her main duties are, among others to ensure that office registration and all institutional and legal mandates are met timely, writing and submission of fundraising proposal opportunities, office and administration, Institutional and Gender Elections Project, Entrepreneurship (Sunrise Campaign), SADC Gender Protocol Alliance work and organising the country summit.
