Gender Justice and Local Government   Country Facilitator

Ntombentsha Mbadlanyana joined Gender Links as the Gender Justice & Local Government Facilitator on the 01 March 2010. Before she   joined Gender Links she had worked for the Provincial Government of the Western Cape in the Department of Social Development, Head Office and worked for the Directorate: Social Capital Formation.

She is also a researcher, facilitator, gender activist and   an academic with qualifications in Social Sciences. She holds a BA Degree in Women’s & Gender studies as well as an Honours Degree obtained at the University of the Western Cape, majoring in Social Sciences, Anthropology,   English and   Humanities. She is also studying towards completing her MA Degree in Women’s & Gender Studies.

After having completed her studies she worked as an intern at RAPCAN – an NGO in Cape Town that deals with the eradication of Child Abuse & Neglect. And also volunteered at the Triangle Project an organisation that deals with LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgendered) issues.
