Onneetse is a development practitioner, a civil society activist and a gender activist with over 14 years of progressive experience in programme coordination and management, project management, gender and women advocacy. She has worked for a number of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in Botswana including Botswana Council of NGOs (BOCONGO) and Women and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA). Before joining Gender Links in August 2019, Onneetse worked with the UN Resident Coordination Office in Botswana as a Coordination Specialist from 2016. Onneetse holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work obtained from the University of Stellenbosch (SA), Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Botswana and is Prince 2 practitioner certified.
