Senior Finance Officer

Rudo Saruchera joined Gender Links Zimbabwe in February 2024 as Senior Finance Officer. She is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, Registered Public Accountant (RPA) with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) Zimbabwe and holds a Practicing Certificate with Audit Qualification.
She is a holder of a Bachelor’s in Commerce Accounting Honors Degree from Midlands State University. She joined Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants in 2011 for Articles of Cleckmanship Training and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts Board (ACCA).
She has over ten ten years post qualification experience in financial management, financial reporting, internal and external audits, compliance, grants management, training of sub grantees, taxation, fleet management, procurement, drafting and reviewing of financial, procurement and assets policies and budget preparation and monitoring.
She has a passion for working with poor and marginalised communities in Zimbabwe and beyond. She desires to contribute to the eradication of poverty and empowerment of less privileged women so that they can have an inner stronger voice that will assist them to protect themselves from gender-based violence and embark on income generating projects within their communities. She envisages communities where the rights of people are respected, resources are distributed equally and those in power act for the common good.
