Sifisosami Dube is the Head of Programmes at GL. She began her work at GL as the Gender Justice and Governance Manager for a year before she moved to become the SADC Gender Protocol Alliance and Partnerships Manager. Prior to joining Gender Links, she was the Gender and Diversity Officer at CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation as well as the coordinator for the Legitimacy, Accountability and Transparency Programme. Sifiso has worked closely with a number of Civil Society Organisations including those from her home country Zimbabwe as well as global civil society organisations. Sifiso holds a Masters in Public and Development Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship through UNISA. She studied Gender Studies through the University of Pretoria. Sifiso is an alumnus of the Thabo Mbeki School of Leadership where she studied Thought Leadership for Africa’s Renewal. She is currently completing a Law degree through UNISA. Sifiso’s passions are gender equality work through women empowerment programs, political and social participation. Sifiso’s other expertise are regional and international integration of civil society, accountability systems and building partnerships for social innovation.
