Tshwaresa Emma Malatji, is a Bachelor of Arts Media Studies graduate from the University Of Limpopo (UL). She was born and raised in Limpopo Province outside the small town of Tzaneen. She is currently serving as a media intern. In 2015, while at UL, Malatji served as a task team member in the Gender and Media course. She also volunteered in the Global Media Monitoring Project (GMMP) and Gender and Media Progress Study (GMPS) for South Africa as one of the monitors under the University of Limpopo. Through the Gender in the Media Education Centres of Excellence (GIME COE) process, Malatji took part in a study visit to Gender Links where she learnt more on gender in the media.
