The Zimbabwe office has managed to establish itself due to mutually beneficial networks with Zimbabwe local associations. The office has strong links with ZILGA, UCAZ and ARDC which has opened many doors for GL’s COE work. Amidst political unrest, councils are keen to work with GL to ensure that gender is mainstreamed at the local level in all councils.
