Gender Links in partnership with the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism will be hosting a panel discussion on the first Southern African research report on gender and advertising as part of the monthly seminar series of the Gender and Media Diversity Centre.

Speakers include researchers, respondents from the advertising industry and special guests from Media Watch Organisation Mauritius, who will speak on their success in challenging sexist advertising in this Indian Ocean Island. The panel also forms part of the week long training course being run by GL and the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism (IAJ): Business Unusual: Gender, Economy and the Media.
