Chiredzi Town Council COE

Chiredzi Town is located in Masvingo Province, 201 km from Masvingo Town. The Town Council is one of the biggest institutions in Chiredzi with regards to the number of people it employs, the volume of services it provides to the public and the public utility works it carries out.

The council is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming in local government, mentored by Masvingo City Council. The Council has entered into private-private partnerships for community outreach programmes aimed at raising awareness on the importance of sexual reproductive health and rights.
