Lupane Local Board COE

Lupane is a district in Matabeleland North Province in Zimbabwe. It lies at an elevation of 976 m. In 2006 it had 1,600 inhabitants. It is on the road from Bulawayo to Hwange. The town has a dedicated university.

The council is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming in local government. It is being mentored by Bulawayo City Council.
