Umzingwane District is a second-order administrative division and is located in Zimbabwe. the local authority has just joined the COE process and is finding its feet. The council offers a variety of service.

Umzingwane RDC is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming in local authorities. The council is mentored by Umguza RDC.

The council has a gender policy that governs its gender initiatives.
