Leading the gender sector cluster

The Southern Africa Development Community Council for non-governmental organisation (SADC-CNGO), has officially welcomed the Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance to lead its Gender Sector Cluster.

The Cluster system is part of the Council of NGOs’ new strategic thrust, drawn from its five year Strategic plan, of enhancing coordination, inclusiveness, ownership and the quality of its engagement with SADC. Through this strategy, the Council of NGOs seeks to open space for various civil society organisations in the region to ensure that civil society engagements and contributions to the development of the SADC Region are coordinated.
