The Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance focal networks have launched the regional 2012 SADC Gender Protocol Barometer along with the country editions for 2012. This is part of sharing findings from the barometer as well as strengthening institutional mechanisms.
The reports have been welcome as a source of a wealth of data on country progress against the 28 targets, which can be used for measuring progress against other regional and international instruments on gender equality such as CEDAW, Beijing Platform for Action among others.
