Previously people had looked at Stevenage, BEAM and Redcross as the only organisations which could assist children but through the work of senior teachers at rimuka3 high of Kadoma, the Seventh Day Adventist church proved it otherwise when it paid school fees for the needy pupils observing that some students had been affected in their learning process when they were sent home to remind parents to pay fees i as one of the senior woman pleaded for help from church organisations through the school teachers who are of various denominations. My relief came when one teacher from the Seventh Day Adventist church asked me to visit their church. We went there and thank god there were well wishers to help. A list of the needy pupils was provided À“five girls five boys. They ranched from form one to form six their school fees was paid. This has helped pupils for they could now focus and delegate all their time studying rather than thinking of where to get the money for fees. Performance of all the students had improved. This goes well with article 14 of the SADC PROTOCOL ON GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT which encourages gender equality in education.
