Community Care Project Trust (CCP)

(1) We have built coalitions with St Stephen Catholic Women (They are involved in fundraising, Banking and stockveil activities as part of women empowerment) Kusewela 2 by 2 by 2 group ( Using netball and foot to spread sexual and sexuality, gender & equality, HIV/AIDS, sexual abuse, drug, alcohol & substance abuse ) Sedeman Youth Alert (A youth movement involved in capacity building for women and youth in promoting their participation in leadership positions in all circles) , Victims of Gender Based Violence Women Forum (Door to door family planning counseling and they are service providers), Kauma Community Watch Groups (establishment of this group that play a strong role in curbing and monitoring violence against women, girls and other youths and refer them to appropriate structures for assistance). We are currently working with Face to Face, UN Women & UNAIDS on End Early & Forced Girl Child Marriages before they reach 18 years of age Campaign. We are have a platform for discussing pressing issues with members of the community and girls where issues pertaining to parental responsibility towards their children (especially the role of girls in the family and the society), The chiefs and political involvement in ensuring that girls` right to respect and dignity, informed choice, quality learning, free and compulsory education, non discrimination, safe and non violent environment, and the right to transparency and accountability are upheld.
