People are aware of their rights since the council has begun to work on issues of gender. Some progress can definitely be seen, projects on gender based violence for example took place in 2014, the staff amongst councillors have been informed on the objectives on gender, also through trainings, and government involvement also, the laws of the constitution have changed, minister of gender is also tackling on the various gender disparities. Since people know their rights they can assert themselves. Improvement of their attitude and their behaviours, for example the council has noticed less cases of harassment. The big new innovation project is also the recreational centres where all groups of the population can be educated, have awareness on their rights and for their welfare. Composting, recycling of plastic bottles, improvement of the sport infrastructure, improvement of the lighting system (now is council is going for eco friendly lighting), more children playgrounds and green spaces (embellishment projects), lighted football grounds for youth to play at night. More activities in-door and out-door which enhance the social and physical development of the population in general and thanks to Council leads to the reduction of social ills in the community.
