Girl Participation In Child Leadership

Because I am a child leader, I stand firm when it comes to matters affecting the girl child . I t is my duty to ensure that girls are empowered in my community. Most girls are not included in child participation because they think its mainly meant for boys and as a result we find them excluding themselves in child participation due to low self esteem . In order to fix it, there must be debates ,discussions and lessons on them so that they become aware of the fifty fifty participation as well. It is therefore because the girls lack knowledge on gender equality and participation in child leadership. The girls will end up taking part in child leadership due to the mentioned activities and as a result they will acquire skills and feel that they are treated the same like any Zimbabwean child.
