To ensure the protection of women and girls as well as to come up with affirmative actions to empower them as they have been previously marginalized and is still marginalized. Through a statement presented by the Council Secretary Mr Maluleke during the area MP ’s district visits he said “If you put a man in a leadership position you will see corruption at its best, but if you put a women in a leadership position you will see work at its best ” . He said this when responding to a villager who said they do not want Ipelegeng project to be coordinated by a woman as women do not know how to coordinate.
