Gender based violence is one of the effects of development of the country where by one gender is taken as inferior by the other sex.
Government and some civil society organization have tried to sensitize people on the effects of gender based violence but it seems there is a need for the government and people in the country to come up with new ways that can help many people to realize that if they abuse the other party (women or men) is one of human rights abuse.
The court in the country have tried to deter other people from the immoral practice but it seems the problem was that the first grade magistrate mostly reside in towns or in the boma or district centers but if the court move to their area where the case occurred that can help for the people to understand how the court deter others.
In my documentary I found that using circuit it can help for the people to learn the effects of GBV and how the curt deter the perpetrators.
In my documentary I featured two women who report to the authorities after they attended one court session which was heard in the localities.
The cases of gender based violence has drop and many people are now reporting if they have been abused by someone even if their husband is violating their rights.
Circuit court act as one of ways of sensitizing people on effects of gender based violence in the court because people access justice within their localities and circuit court act as a warning to others who do the same.
The other challenge which I noted is about funds where for the court to move to the areas where the case took place there is a need to have enough funds.
