Physically disabled children and adults in Kadoma City

The physically disabled people of Kadoma City had a challenge with mobility with more than 75% of them needing wheelchairs. Kadoma City Council in collaboration with Wheelchair foundation donated wheelchairs to physically disabled children and adults in Kadoma City. A person with physical disability can assume their role in society provided an enabling environment is created by the society they live in. Kadoma City council facilitated the acquisition of wheelchairs from Wheelchair Foundation. The disabled in the city were and are still benefiting from the initiative.
The initiative was in accordance with Article 9 of the SADC Gnder Protocol which advocates for the protection and welfare of person with disabilities especially women
