Releleng Drop in Centre is community based, non profit organisation (NPO) Ref: 058-881 started on 15 September 2006 in Limpopo Province western site of Polokwane (61 Km from Polokwane) in rural area Tibane village, next to Chaba Driving School. The centre was established after realising that the is a high rate of orphans and vulnerable children caused by HIV & AIDS, the centre was established by 10 staff members and currently as 12 staff members wish 06 are female other 06 are males of the twelve staff members 02 are part-time Volunteers (youths) and amongst the staff members 02 are people living with disability, currently the total number of children are 114. We provide support services for poor people and a safe haven for orphans and vulnerable children. We provide lunch for orphans and vulnerable children and youth from 05 – 18 of age during the week this help them to removed from the street, we assist them with homework we run a gardening for income generating project, basic first Aid, basic counselling. We also assist the community to apply for Identity document, social grants and birth certificates by referring them to the relevant Government Departments. We rely on donations from different donors to able to keep the organisation running. Staff and volunteers also contribute money in order to be able to attend meetings and workshops. We are opening from 08:00 to 16:00 when works are finished.

I am very aware of how inpactful you’ve been to the community. When days were dark, and we had no food at home, there was always a center we knew we could rely on for our lunch and a time to learn two or three things from the peers and supportive administrators of your foundation.
