The organization was started in May 2004 as a high rates caused by HIV/AIDS. Children were left orphaned ans some families were unable to provide food, this resulted in training 20 caregivers to work in eight villages under Lonsdale clinic in Aganang Municipality by the Department of Health. we were assisted by the Social workers to identify orphans and vulnerable children. Plus or minus 200 orphans were identified and referred to Department of Social Development for assistance for foster grants. And also identified and referred 100 patients to Lonsdale clinic for assistance of diagnoses and treatment. We were assisted by nurses and TB coordinators to give care and support to them by doing (DOTS) Direct Observed Treatment Support/ short course. in August 2004 we started a gardening in the clinic to help patients and needy families with vegetables e.g spinach, carrots, tomatoes and onions once a week. and also asking for food parcels from Department of Social Development. In 2006 we received funding from the Office of the Premier for the amount of R25000, the money is for administration only not stipend because we are volunteers. In November 2006 we filled proposals from the Department of health ans asking for funding for administration, stipends, telephone, electricity, rent, post box, equipment and transportation. we received funding from the Department of Health in 2007 in June and hired8 caregivers to work with us. In September we started training Auxiliary health care at Nchebeko Skills Consultancy Ga-Mmashashane, 10 caregivers were trained.
