Siloe Council

It has been two years now since Gender links was introduced in Siloe F01 and the second time that the Council took part Gender Link Summit since December 2012. The concept of Gender mainstreaming has encouraged the spirit of the community mainly the leaders especially female councillors in the council in far as gender issues are concerned. This has been indicated by the degree of female participation in council decision making processes and day to day business of the council. The council has embarked intensively on issues of gender in various spheres of life ultimately changing the lives of those who were formally.
