The first Documentary it a story about a father who raped his four daughters and the government (law enforcement) did not make a justice for the girls, and also shows how the girls were abused in Tabora Region.
The second Documentary it is about a story of a 16 year old young lady who got pregnant and her family sat together with a family of person who impregnated the young lady and they agreed to pay five hundred thousand for that case and the case was closed.
The key objectives of this project was to inform the society about gender Issue and to get justice for those who get hurt. The project was pushed well and managed to reach 45 000 target audiences according to Najjat Omar radio station (CG Fm Radio). The main targets audience in this project government officials and non-government organisations.
’’I wrote the Rape Story because it is based on gender issues also it is beyond human right but also it is not based on human right, but because those four girls have been traumatised.” Omar added.
The second documentary was motivated by the early forced marriages of the young girls in the village.
The project was produced accordingly from the information which was gathered from different sources. “Yes I got the Data from more than 6 sources, and females and males are important because of the government Career.’’ Said Najjat Omar.
The information was gathered from the internet and other government officials. Interviewed 9 females and 6 males sources. “I chose these sources because some a target are activists and government officials. Their voices are important because to tell the reality and clarification about what happening.” Najjat Omar.
This programme has targets of certain Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are set to eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including human trafficking, sexual and other types of exploitation. Eliminate all harmful practices, such as early or forced marriage and female genital mutilation. Recognise and value unpaid care and domestic work through the provision of public services infrastructure and social protection policies and the promotion of shared responsibility within the household. To ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision making in political, economic and public life.
Furthermore, to ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights as agreed in accordance with the Programme of Action of the International Conference on population and development, and the Beijing Platform for Action and the outcome documents of their review conferences. To undertake reforms to give women equal rights to economic resources, as well as access to ownership and control over land and other forms of property, financial services, inheritance and natural resources, in accordance with national laws. Help to enhance the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communications technology, and to promote the empowerment of women. Adopt and strengthen sound policies and enforceable legislation for the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls at all levels.
