The documentary is highlighting the problems women in Malawi face due to water problems.
In most areas especially in rural areas there is scarcity of water forcing women to walk long distances to access at least portable and safe water.
This puts the womenâ??s lives in danger as most times they go fetch water during odd hours where they can harmed or even raped.
This also affects their economic growth as instead of concentrating on other things like business that can enhance their economy they are busy looking for their next source of water which defeats the purpose of empowering women economically.
The documentary also sourced views from the women themselves, various human rights and gender activists on their input on how women are affected with issues to do with water scarcity and how best it can be addressed.
On the part of authorities, the documentary has in puts from government departments i.e. water board and ministry of water and irrigation on how best this problems can be addressed once and for all.
I believe this is a good practice because if the problems affecting women highlighted there in could be addressed, their right to life and economic growth will be improved.
