It has been realised that when death unexpectedly strikes, most families struggle to make the event come about, hence the formation of “Women in Action| which comprises of eighteen Waverly High female teachers. Contributions are made towards this noble gesture, mainly meant to curb financial constrains that women encounter in times of such a crisis. This project is meant to reveal the capabilities of women to land a helping hand with the aim of hosting decent burials in special cases of financial constrains. It is also aimed at instilling entrepreneurship skills in women whereby they can source funeral requirements. It is a well known and proven fact that women play multiple roles when there is bereavement as they give both moral and financial support. Women in Action is a good practice as it relieves the woman such burdens .Provision of funds to bereaved members has been constant through the enrolment and commitment of willing women who have managed to select a committee that handles, analyses and disburses the cash. Support has been offered emotionally and financially through attendance and catering services. We have managed to upraise the status of the women in Kadoma and their families as surplus cash has been regenerated. This practise is consistent with Article 16 as it recognises the multiple roles of women.
