– Men were given much more importance than women.
– Few women had the courage to take responsibility
Á¯ ¶ CHANGES:
– The women dare to express their opinions and to speak out on violences they endure.
– Women are present in all fields: the council has municipal police women, the president of the councillors is a woman, there are women in the local security committee, there are women community heads (6)
– The number of violence cases has decreased, many couples are legally married
– Paternal affiliation has been achieved for many children
– Cases of family abandonment are fewer.
– Many women have got a permanent work / a part-time job offered by the council
– Many people have changed their way of thinking after having attended training and awareness-raising sessions
