Southern Africa: Gender awards highlights

Johannesburg, 29 May: The 2014 Regional SADC Gender Protocol ended with a bang last night at the gala dinner, held at Kopanong Conference Centre. A total of 24 winners and 18 runners-up received certificates of recognition handed by Honourable Minister for Gender in Mauritius, Mireille Martin and the Minister for Gender, Youth, Sports and Recreation, Chief Thesele Maseribane for their work in advancing gender equality.
