New York, 12 March: As part of the Men Care+ Programme, Sonke Gender Justice National Manager for Community Education Mobilisation, Rukia Cornelius, spoke at the UN side event at CSW58 called “Engaging boys and men to achieve gender equality.” Cornelius emphasises the need for a gender-based violence national strategic plan that is fully costed as well as sustained funding for organisations fighting for women’s rights.
