Give a short history of the leader	since i was brave enough to stand up and represent women in local goverment elections people began to trust me
Objectives	I WANT TO SE EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY HAVING A FAIR LIFE AND PARTICIPATING IN GENDER BASED ISSUES AND INVOLVE THEMSELVES WHERE CONCERNED.I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A DEVELOPMENT OF ROADS IN MY COMMUNITY
Key activities	is to ensure the well being of the community and ensure a good development in the community and make sure that people are always satisfied with my work
Key challenges	most men are too traditional so its very hard for them to understand and cooperate with this gender equality,they think that we are promoting disrespect from their wife
Results
Change at the individual level	gender links took us to Gauteng for women’s conference,they were empowering women about being strong and brave to face the challenges and not be afraid to leader,learn new things we also learnt about types of abuse and when to report it,learn about types of abuse.
Evidence of change at the individual level	thakane mosooane she is my daughter she is very impressed and happy about how positively i have changed,the way i talk to them, and teach them about knowing their rights,being open to my kids about sex relations
Change at the household level	my children no thier rights and also know when to report abuse,i am open to them about sexual matters so we are now friends
Evidence of change at the household level	my husband is very happy and impressed because i respect him and we sit down and solve our problems in the right manner
Change at institutional level	matsebela pule a community woman,she joined a community society so she was broke she couldn’t afford to pay the subscription so she wanted to quit.i advised and encouraged her not to give up,i tried to convince her that she wont regret and i also advised her that in life she should not give up without fighting ,she listened to my advice and went back,she then came to thank me later

Change at a policy level	women also have a voice ,they are also entitled to own opinion and should be given an opportunity to be in the front ,
Evidence of change at a policy level	chairperson,zwoane takane once thanked gender links for grooming me to be positively different,he thanked me because i advised him on which method to use in oder to reach the solution
Capacity building	talking to women ,empowering them and make them aware that not only men should take the first lead,i also help children to apply for scholarships and encourage them to be educated
Lessons learned and shared	MANY WOMEN STILL DON’T UNDERSTAND THEIR RIGHTS AND THEY ARE STILL BEHIND BECAUSE THEY CANT STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES WOMEN ARE STILL BEHIND CONCERNING TECHNOLOGY SO THEY DONT UNDERSTAND THIS THINGS
Next Steps	I WISH TO CONTINUE WORKING FOR THE COMMUNITY EVEN IN HIGHER PLACES LIKE ONE DAY BECOME A MINISTER OR PRIME MINISTER
