My most memorable experience of the training was when I got to meet a psychologist. Until that course I never knew what a psychologist is. Following my time with abusive husband, a cousin once told me that I need to speak to a psychologist but I did not know which way to go. After so many years, one finally walked up to me and I felt so privileged. All my life I could never voice out the abuse that I went through but with Sabrina, for the first time ever I let everything out. I felt a burden had been lifted off my chest. I was at peace and safe because I knew I could trust her. I joined the training in 2014 and one of the most precious knowledge I gained from that training is that I learned how make adequate use of money.
Before the training I was not interested in doing business as such. I learn and teach swimming. I was actively involved in this sport as well as attend literacy class. After the training I learned that I could very earn extra money. I am still doing my swimming classes but with an added twist. I prepare snacks along and sell it to those who come swimming with me. Thanks to the training I have been able to develop this idea. My family especially my daughter really appreciates the fact that I have been able to get a chance to make the most of my old age.
I do not have big aims and ambitions as such. I just want to live the rest of life fully without regrets. The training taught me a lot. I can say that I came out of it grown up. And now I want to motivate and inspire others to take the reigns of their lives themselves.
