My business plan as a Fishmonger

At Gender Links (GL), the thing that I have found more interesting is the course where I have got much information on loan taking. In fact I have started the course in the year 2014. I have attended two phrases out of three phrases. Actually I am not working. But that course at GL has encouraged me to believe in a project that I wanted to realize one day. I am actually taking steps to be a fishmonger.  I am a married woman with three underage children. I am thirty years old while my husband is thirty-one. My elder child is doing his Primary certificate of Education this year. He is actually taking part in the CPE exam. My second child is in Standard three. My last child is at pre-primary level. When I got married with my husband, everything was fine. Then he starts showing me his true colors. I then started experiencing a lot of violence from him. From that day, he started to beat me a lot for little or nothing. He even threatened me to leave the house. However, his behavior has changed a lot now. He no more uses violence to resolve matters between us. Gender Links has helped me a lot to improve our wife-husband relationship. It has encouraged me on the importance of a good communication at home. Indeed, dialogue is the key to a good understanding. However, I was not aware of this. Gender Links also has helped me to know how to start a business and make up a business plan. One thing I would like to tell Gender Links is to continue its advocacy in helping women to become entrepreneurs. Many women do not know their full potential. Women do what men can. They can also set up a business. I am already planning to start my fishmonger business soon. I am very much motivated by this. I know that I will be successful. I will succeed because I have a goal in life now. I want to make an achievement. Gender Links is the reason behind my motivation. In the future years to come, I saw myself as a successful fishmonger. They have aspired me to see bigger. This is why I want to thank Gender Links for everything they do. They are doing a big job by helping each one of us. So, again thank you!
