My name is Andimba Imene I was born on 07 January 1965, I am a mother of three children and I am currently staying in Walvis Bay. When I started with the training for the first time I was so excited and was looking forward to gain more knowledge so that I will become a successful entrepreneur. I was so proud to have attended this kind of entrepreneurship workshop and I believe that gender base violence can only be reduce if more women are empowered. Most of the women stay in their abusive relationship because they are too dependent to the men financially, they don’t see life without a men.
For now I have not started any business because I don’t have the capital to start the business and i will try to save for the capital and if not I would appreciate if Gender Links would be able to help me with capital to start my business. I am planning to buy materials if get financial assistance from Gender Link. I am very confident women and can do what ever I decide to do for example if start a new business for selling materials in Walvis Bay. I want to become independent women, because I can see myself that my partner does not really love me. He only loves me because I have place to stay. We have been staying together for long time but he doesn’t say anything about getting married.
I am in need of financial assistance to pay for renting when I started selling products. My life will change for better if I get money. If I become successful I can help other people to get out of poverty. I am really love to help out disable people, orphans and street kids .I am planning to grow my business one day if start selling more product. I really thank Gender Link for empower me to go out there and challenge life.
