The Good Seeds of Gender Links in my Life

The course at Gender Links was very interesting. It was in many ways useful. Especially the ideas I received when I started this course has helped me to know how to set up my own business. Now, I know what must be done to start my business. In addition, I learned how to take care of my family first.  I have also become conscious of how to save money so as to advance in life. Saving money is something very important. I started this course at Gender Links since year 2014. I have been able to attend all the three phases. I am a woman who is actively working on the construction site. Or else, I have a dream which I always had at heart to realize. My project involves the construction of a small boutique where I can sell fruits and vegetables, frozen food and cakes. It was hard for me to do this project because I did not know how to manage my money. I was a person who enjoyed spending as soon as I get money. So, it became difficult for me to put aside some money. Gender links taught me how about the benefits of saving.  Now I know how to prepare a good budget which will allow me to realize my project. A budget was something that I did not know how to plan. I am a mother of three daughters and three sons. They have also seen the change when I started this course. Now they see me as being more fulfilled and independent. I love the way they see me. It makes me happy. However, there is a problem. My toilet is blocking the way for the construction of my small boutique. I have to free that space first. However, I am determined to go forward. I want to advance in life. I have a goal in life now. My project consists of opening the small boutique which will not only help me to earn my living. It will also be the source of revenue of my daughter. My daughter also will rely on this to live. Overall, the project will benefit the entire family in some way or another. All these dreams would not have been possible If Gender links did not gave me the boost that I needed. Gender Links has helped me a lot. It is a helpful non-governmental organization. I want to say a big thanks to Gender Links for all their support and encouragement. They gave me an objective in life.  Now I see a little light in the dark tunnel. I know that I will succeed in life. I have changed my way of thinking. Now, I am saving for the future. Through saving, I will be able to make my project be a reality.
