Ahead of the Summit, the GMDC will host its biannual Advisory Group Meeting on 12 October 2010 at the Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg. The theme of this meeting is also “taking stock” of the GMDC by looking at its mandate and progress to fulfill it since the inception of the GMDC in 2007. The meeting will include an analysis of the original GMDC concept and the first Advisory Group minutes, will be reviewed and assesed. This meeting will help continue to shape the direction of the GMDC.
