Lusophone commentary service takes off

The Gender Links Lusophone service is taking off in October 2011. The service will be covering Angola and Mozambique and Paola Rolletta, a distinguished journalist is the editor. Among other things, Rolletta will assist in the completion of the Business Unusual: Gender and Economic Reporting training that took place during the Heads of State Summit in Luanda in August 2011. The completion of the project will contribute to the strengthening of the Lusophone Opinion and Commentary Service.

Journalists who participated in the BU training are required to submit two post training articles on gender and economic justice. Small grants to research stories will be given to 13 journalists from Angola and Mozambique.
