Gender Links in partnership with loveLife will on 24th February 2012 hold seminar on “youth and multiple concurrent sexual partnerships.” Concurrent sexual partnerships is defined as having two or more partnerships that overlap in time. Due to unequal power relation between women and men, it is feared that the practice increases the risk and has recently been identified as a likely driver of the spread of HIV.
