A national strategy and programme of action for male involvement in sexual and reproductive health and rights, the prevention of HIV/AIDS and gender based violence 2007 – 2012

The world is experiencing a serious impact of HIV and AIDS, the sub- Saharan region is most affected and Botswana is one of the most affected countries in the region. With this in mind and conscious of the advocacy role media plays in our society Misa Botswana assisted 3 media houses to craft internal policies and codes of conduct on HIV and AIDS. We hope this can be viewed as media’s commitment to fighting HIV and AIDS in our country.
