A synopsis of SGBV in the print media

This report profiles findings of the study on sexual and gender based violence cases reported in the print media. The aim is to generate information that can be used in public education about the problem of violence against women in Uganda.

The media plays a key role in creating awareness about the problem of gender based violence. A number of recommendations are made based on the examination of these cases reported in the media.
