A training manual on principles enshrined in the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)

CEDAW was created in 1979 to overcome discrimination against women in the areas of marriage and family relations, including property and inheritance, civil and political rights, suffrage, employment, education and health care.

ACFODE has prepared this training manual to create awareness among their people about women’s rights. There are two main purposes which are to explain the Convention to ACFODE’s target audience and to produce a training manual for ACFODE facilitators to use.
