This documentary has the aim of restoring hope and dignity to women and girls in Zimbabwe. It is produced by Musasa, one of the oldest feminist and women’s organizations in Zimbabwe. In Zimbabawe one in three girls is raped before the age of 18, in Shona Musasa means the sheltering tree.
