This issue of Africa in Fact, encompassing various aspects of justice, is entitled Balancing Justice. Subjects covered include African opposition to the ICC; the first war crimes tribunal in Uganda and trust in the courts in Africa. There is also an important article on the fact there are several laws addressing rape and domestic violence in Mozambique but their enforcement is shaky. Others are on curbing corruption and South Africa’s NPA under siege.
