Africa in fact: Shaky foundations

Articles in this issue which focuses on constitutions include ones on Tanzania’s draft constitution, repressive laws still on Zimbabwe’s books and the Zambian president’s promise of a new constitution. There is also an article about governors in Kenya who wish to amend the new constitution only two years after power was transferred to local counties and another about certain African leaders who are trying to bend their countries’ constitutions to stay in power.
