Community attitudes to violence against women: Executive summary

A national study into the Australian Community’s attitudes to violence against women was undertaken by the Office of the Status of Women. This research was part of the National Domestic Violence Education programme

The Federal Government then initiated a ‘Stop violence against women’ community education campaign. this research was intended to provide a stocktake of where community attitudes are now and directions on where to go to from here.
